fuckyeahtattoos:

My first tattoo, taken a few days after it was done. Its a drawing of Hermione Granger (drawn by www.ladylotte.deviantart.com) from the Harry Potter series.
It was important to me that my first tattoo was themed around Harry Potter, and after toying around with a few ideas, I decided to go with the character I believe we can all learn the most from, Hermione. She teaches us that it is more important to be the best that you can be, than to dumb yourself down and be pretty for the sake of popularity, she isn’t afraid to read, or to admit she knows the answers and she always stands up for what she believes in, S.P.E.W for example, There is no possible way the trio would have ever been able to kill Voldemort and win the war without her.
It was also important to me that I had my very own version of Hermione, as much as I adore the films and love Emma Watson in the role, that isnt what I wanted on my skin forever, I wanted the Hermione I see in my own mind when I read the books, and this represents it well.
Tattoo by Jim at Skinovations in Sleaford.
